With web 2.0, everyone is back on the starting line. Africa has a chance to lead the way – not by developing new technology, but thru innovation of new social communities.
Uganda has started by sharing agricultural info online, Kenya has a robust micro payment infrastructure, and Rwanda has put in place robust e-Government policies and technology.
The next step is regular developer, funding, academia and government conferences to bring together leaders and investors.
